Postcards of the Past

Jaipur, India

Historically called Jeypore, (which is a large town in Odisha and a name confusingly reflected in many of our old postcards) Jaipur is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is also known as the Pink City, due to the dominant color scheme of its buildings. It is located 268 km from the national capital New Delhi. (If we have the incorrect information here, or if any of our old postcards shown are incorrectly labelled, please let us know !)

If you would like to buy a reproduction of any of our postcards of Jaipur, please visit our Zazzle Store. For your convenience, we have included a letter "Z" in the caption beneath those postcards for which Zazzle products using the image are available.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
