Postcards of the Past

Some Places in Nièvre, France

Nièvre is a department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in the centre of France, and is named after the River Nièvre. The Prefecture is at Nevers - other settlements of note include Cosne-sur-Loire, Varennes-Vauzelles, Marzy, Decize, Imphy, Clamecy, Magny-Cours and La Charité. Nièvre produces Pouilly Fumé. Part of the Parc naturel régional du Morvan lies in the department.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
