Postcards of the Past

Côtes-d'Armor, Bretagne, France

Côtes-d'Armor, formerly known as Côtes-du-Nord, is  a department in the north of Brittany, in northwestern France. You will see that some of our postcards refer to Côte d'Émeraude, which is an area of the Channel coast which runs for about 120km between Pointe du Grouin in Cancale and Cap Fréhel in Plévenon, and is located in the Côtes-d'Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine departments; it includes the Rance estuary, Dinard, and Saint-Malo. The Bay of Saint-Brieuc lies to its west and Mont-Saint-Michel Bay lies to its east.

If you would like to buy a reproduction of any of our postcards of places in the Côtes-d'Armor department,  please visit our Zazzle Store. For your convenience, we have included a letter "Z" in the caption beneath those postcards for which Zazzle products using the image are available.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
