Bonn is a city on the banks of the Rhine in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. After the Second World War, from 1949 to 1990, Bonn was the capital of West Germany, and from 1990 to 1999, the city served as the seat of government – but no longer the capital – of a reunited Germany. It is famously known as the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven in 1770, and as the "Small Town in Germany" in John le Carré's 1968 novel.

If you would like to buy a reproduction of any of our postcards of Bonn, please visit our Zazzle Store. For your convenience, we have included a letter "Z" in the caption beneath those postcards for which Zazzle products using the image are available.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
