Postcards of the Past

Cologne/Köln, Germany

Cologne (Koln-am-Rhein) is Germany's fourth largest city, with a population (2011) of just over 1 million. The city lies on both banks of the River Rhine. It was heavily bombed during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost the entire city and a reduction in population of about 95%. Its famous cathedral was damaged by bombs, but did not collapse, and has since been restored.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
