Postcards of the Past

Co Dublin, Ireland

County Dublin, or more correctly today the Dublin Region, is the area that contains the city of Dublin and the modern counties of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, Fingal and South Dublin. The former County Dublin effectively ceased to exist in 1994 when the local government of the area was reorganised, but as our postcards predate this event, for simplicity we are retaining the old name. There is a separate page of postcards of Dublin City. This being the most densely populated area of Ireland means that there are a large number of towns, villages and suburbs in the region, too many to list.

In conjunction with Zazzle, we have produced an extensive range of gifts, using images from these old postcards. The items available include many reproduction postcards, coffee mugs, Christmas cards, birthday cards, key chains, fridge magnets, watches etc. Most items may be personalised.
